PAX To Leverage Entire TGate Solution Suite To Support ISOs, ISVs
Chicago, IL, May 9, 2011 —TGate Payments today announced a partnership program to certify EFT-POS Terminals and PINPADs from PAX Technology, a leading provider of EFT POS terminals and one of the largest POS manufacturers in the world. The agreement will enable PAX to leverage the value and flexibility of TGate’s entire solution suite to expand sales of its peripherals and Payment Terminals to ISO’s and ISVs.
The partnership provides PAX with another option, via TGate’s PCI-compliant PathwayLINKsm,of connecting their payment terminals to most major processors. Since it provides a single integration to most major processors, the flexibility PathwayLINK delivers will significantly extend PAX’s ability to provide ISOs with a completely secure hardware/software solution that can adapt to any existing processing relationship.
In addition, TGate has integrated PAX’s peripheral pinpads and integrated solutions into TGate’s Paylinksm application to offer resellers and merchants with a greater range of hardware choices that have sophisticated designs at affordable price points. Paylink is the industry’s first PCI PA-DSS T-Gate certified hosted payment page capable of relieving ISV’s of handling card-holder sensitive data. Integration with PayLINK provides a direct connection to PathwayLINK, allowing transactions to effectively be removed from the POS.
“We are very excited about our collaboration with PAX in providing an entirely new range of secure and cost-effective payment solutions to the marketplace, says Tracy Metzger, TGate’s president. “As PAX continues to develop point-to-point encryption products, we look forward to adding SecureLINK’s robust decryption services that are capable of supporting their formats in a true processor-agnostic approach.”
“We see this as a great opportunity to bring a new range of security and flexibility to our BroadPOS thin-client terminals,” said Andy Chau, President and CEO of PAX Technology. “We are always looking for solutions to bring more benefits to our partners and we believe this solution will allow our key channel partners to provide a powerful new sales opportunity to retailers, who are anxious to take advantage of the new generation secure IP and dial terminals.”
