PAX Technology Ltd., a leading global provider of electronic payment terminals, is pleased to announce that its project “high security payment terminals industrialization” has been designated as a National Science and Technology Major Project by the National Development and Reform Commission (“NDRC”), and is entitled to the “state high-tech industrial development fund”, a special fund program created by the NDRC to actively promote the entire information security level of financial enterprises.
PAX will establish new and advanced facilities for products testing (including financial POS terminals, mobile payment terminals, S-series traditional payment terminals) under this project to meet the rising demand for information security in financial services and provide safer and smoother payment experiences to customers.
PAX’s efforts in significantly advancing the field of information security in the payment industry are proven by the PRC government designating its project as a National Science and Technology Major Project by the NDRC and thus being entitled to the fund. PAX will further increase R&D investment and innovation capacity on data encryption technology to help accelerate the development of financial information security.
