PAX Technology (HKEx: 00327 – PAX GLOBAL), a global leader in the provision of secure electronic payment terminal solutions, has been selected by Ecuador’s largest bank, Banco Pichincha, to supply EMV compliant terminals.
PAX’s regional channel partner, KinPOS Corporation (“KinPOS”), worked closely with Banco Pichincha to develop and certify on the PAX platform.
To enhance its acquirer network security, the bank will deploy SP30 multilane smart PINpads, an EMV and PCI compliant device which accepts many types of payment transactions, including contactless, magnetic stripe and chip cards.
